This picture was taken at the gathering of Worcester artists called StART on the Street which took place on Sept. 21. I was looking to capture people's reactions to the cardboard box city that had been constructed there. This mother and her son seemed to be standing in awe, but still had walked into the middle of the chaos. That was the best part about the cardboard boxes; the feeling that they were accessible and could be picked up and moved around, but still had a sense of art to them. I only wish that the stores' banners hadn't been caught in the frame, but cropping would have cut off the top of the cardboard tower as well.
